Car Specifications:
1. No engines or motors
2. No nails allowed
3. Must be made of wood construction
4. Length - 84 inches or less
5. Width - no wider than 42 inches
6. Wheels - 12 inches or less, heavy duty or metal rims.
7. Steering king pin must be ∏ inch - grade 5 bolt or grade 8.
8. Must have steering blocks.
9. Must have some kind of brake.
10. Must have some kind of personal restraint.
11. Rider must wear a helmet.
12. Must have a foot holder (so feet can’t fall to the ground)
13. Must have 4 wheels.
14. Must have tow hook on front and rear.
NOTE: DECISION OF THE JUDGES IS FINAL!
Registration fee is $10 per entry. Races will be conducted on Friday - June 11, 2010 at the west parking lot of Ottawa Township High School, East Main Street in Ottawa, commencing at 10 a.m. Trophies will be awarded to winners. This activity is for youth 11 years to 17, and separate races for adults 18 and up. This is open to everyone - boys, girls, men, women - and, you need not be a scout to participate!
