Oct. 6, 2007	Temples, Tombs & Hieroglyphs - Step back in time to the time of the ancient Egyptians! Participate in our chariot races, learn about hieroglyphics & mummies, enjoy a fun day with an Egyptian theme. Games, crafts, fun, fun, fun! Pre-registration - by October 1, 2007. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. program - lunch provided. Best Egyptian costume prize!	TBA	October 1, 2007
Oct. 8, 2007	Hands Across The Water - Visit the museum and meet Michael Baden-Powell, the grandson of Robert Baden-Powell and the grandsons of W. D. Boyce - Stephen Hultberg and Lee Mueller.	FREE	None
Dec. 2, 2007	Santa’s Surprise Workshop - Youth make surprise gift for Mom or Dad, bring Grandma or Grampa to help & keep the surprise a secret! This is an activity suitable for youth 4 years of age and up. Must have an adult partner attend.	$5.00	Yes - November 26, 2007 - Only accepting 10 youth per hour - registration form requires day and hour you wish to attend. Preregistration mandatory. No walk-ins.
February 16, 2008	Bird House Construction - youth participants will use tools to build a bird house - adults required for this program	$6.00	February 8, 2008 - in hand, at the museum! we will take up to 10 youth per hour, will schedule 8 sessions for the day - registration deadline strictly observed - no walk-ins on wood working activities.
April 12, 2008	Spring Fling!! This is a fun day of Round Robin Spring Crafts - come make a "blimp" - do some Balloon Planting - and see what else we have to offer you! THIS IS A FREE ACTIVITY!!!	None	Offered throughout the day from 10. a.m. to 3:00 p.m. FREE ACTIVITY!
June 13-15, 2008	Founder’s Weekend - a variety of activities will be offered, including a "Space Derby"!	Varies	Preferably by May 1, 2008
August 9, 2008	Spies Among Us - attend "spy" school, learn the ropes and be "deployed into the field for surveillance" - report back to headquarters to be "debriefed" - great program!	$6.00	August 1, 2008 - in hand at the museum!
Oct. 11, 2008	Castles & Wizardry - Prize for Best Harry Potter character costume! Learn magic tricks, play "Quidditch", magical fun with games, crafts, treats!	$6.00	October 4, 2008

January 11, 2009	Qualifiers will be invited to our Party Bash on this date to receive all their awards!	None for Qualifiers	By invitation only - attend 4 of the above to qualify for an invitation to receive your special patch!!!

Although the building in which the museum is housed belongs to the City of Ottawa (we have a lease), the museum itself is NOT owned, operated or financially supported by the city.
