Attention Scrapbookers – And Would Be Scrapbookers

Christmas/Winter Border Class at the Ottawa Scouting Museum

The Ottawa Scouting Museum, 1100 Canal Street, Ottawa, Illinois will be offering a Christmas/Winter Borders Make It and Take It class for Scrapbookers and Would-Be Scrapbookers on Sunday, February 22, 2009 from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m.

If you are a veteran Scrapbooker, or someone who would like to begin scrapbooking, this program is designed to get you off to a running start with 20+ Christmas and winter themed scrapbooking borders. Pre-cut materials will be provided in a “kit” to complete these borders during the class. Borders are designed for 12″ scrapbooks, are Christmas and/or winter themed – and each one is different! A great opportunity for scrappers to get those Christmas photos from last year – or from years ago – or for next year – into your own Christmas memory scrapbook!

Participants will need to bring their own adhesive, paper cutter and scissors. The fee, which includes all supplies (except adhesive) and refreshments, is $25 per person.

Pre-registration is required and is due in-hand at the museum no later than 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2009. Simply mail your check to OSM, PO Box 2241, Ottawa, IL 61350 – and make a notation that it is for the Christmas/Winter Borders Class. Class size is limited, so register early!

Questions should be directed to Mollie Perrot at the museum 815/431-9353 or via e-mail to (Put OSM in the subject line so I don’t inadvertently delete your e-mail!)
